My client have an exciting opportunity for a supply planner to join their Supply Chain Planning team on a permanent basis at their site near Fareham. You will be part of a team of planners, managing a subset of products, be a stakeholder in strategic planning projects, and develop optimised planning business processes to drive results.

Location - Fareham

Salary - Competative (plus benefits) Hybrid working

Roles & Responsibilities of the supply planner -

Manages inventory at both product and item level to achieve organizational goals through product availability and inventory optimization.

Executes the resupply plan through local and global packaging and distribution functions.

Works closely with Manufacturing Planning Teams and the Global Supply Chain Team in support of global service, inventory level goals and to resolve supply chain issues.

Provides input and executes to monthly Demand and Operations Planning process.

Collaborates with Commercial on new product launch expectations and supports product lifecycle through to discontinuation.

Ensures compliance with inventory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate for the supply planner role will have -

Experience of Supply Chain/Planning is essential

ERP/Planning software experience required

Proficient in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint, advanced preferred

Strong analytical skills with an ability to utilise data from multiple sources is essential

Outstanding communication skills required - verbal, written and presentation is essential
