My client is looking for a Supply Planner to join their Supply and Demand Team. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless supply and dispatch of goods in line with customer expectations and revenue targets. If you have a proven track record in planning and sales order management and are ready to take on a challenging role in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Day to day of the role:

  • Manage customer queries and communications, ensuring detailed and timely responses.
  • Identify and manage “critical stock items” to maintain positive stock situations through coordination with relevant teams.
  • Conduct weekly update meetings, providing minutes and ensuring customer-required actions are completed.
  • Process customer purchase orders into sales orders and plan dispatches to meet delivery schedules.
  • Address availability issues and find solutions to maintain positive stock levels within required lead times.
  • Support and review data with the Supply Manager to prepare On-Time In-Full (OTIF) reporting.
  • Maintain clear communication around key projects and update weekly project trackers and forecast confirmations.
  • Manage and process additional monthly customer costs, ensuring timely invoicing.
  • Attend internal daily calls with production and warehousing to monitor and ensure planned deliveries.
  • Handle invoice queries from customers, ensuring proper reconciliation.
  • Assist in achieving and reporting monthly Third Party KPIs to the business.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a planning role, with sales order management expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong customer management and decision-making abilities.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to quickly prioritise tasks.
  • Effective time management skills and a professional, proactive work ethic.
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Desirable but not essential: previous experience in Supply Chain, good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and familiarity with Sage business system.
