Location: Ascot
Salary: £21,500
Hours: 4 days per week, 8am - 5.15pm
30 minute unpaid lunch break and two 15 minute paid breaks (morning and afternoon)
My client are a centre of excellence, developing and producing smart veterinary diagnostic testing kits.
They are looking for a Supply Chain Operator to join their team and perform all duties required to a high level whilst working together with colleagues in a safe and professional manner.
Maintaining the high level of quality of the products being received from suppliers as well as those that are being produced and released for sale.
Daily Duties:
Prepare all components for packing.
Pack kits as per order in line with order details.
Prepare kits for shipping.
Fill out approved documentation.
Receiving Goods in from Suppliers - ensuring accurate accounting of the goods inwards.
Drawing up the Certificate of Analysis.
Workplace maintenance, weekly checking of lifting equipment, temperature checks, balance calibration, inventory control, cleanliness, and filing.
Awareness of Health & Safety procedures.
Reporting low stock levels to Supervisor/ Manager.
Perform any production tasks assigned by Supervisor/Manager
Work according to approved documentation in SOPs and in line with LWIs.
Person Specification:
Educated to GCSE level in Mathematics and English
Preferably 2 years experience in a production environment
Work diligently and with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills
Good numeracy skills.
Ability to manage time effectively.
Adaptable, flexible, and open to change
Ability to work well as part of a team.
IT literate and able to carry out basic tasks on computer.
Proficient level of verbal and written English.
