We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Controller to join a team based on the outskirts of Salisbury.

Main responsibilities;

  • To apply and maintain appropriate SCM methods to secure supply continuity within a complex and specialized supply chain.
  • Using MRP systems to evaluate planned and forecast purchase requirement and manage P2P purchase process to ensure the timely delivery of components and materials to production.
  • To ensure that the supply chain capability is aligned to new product development programs and management of change, including minimizing obsolescence and stock disposals.
  • Reporting on P2P activity, supplier performance and trends.
  • Supporting weekly planning / purchase meeting and identifying any supply issues

Qualifications and experience

  • ONC / BTEC preferred - Business or Technical
  • CIPS level 2 preferred - Purchasing and Supply Diploma
  • Permitted to work in the UK - essential
  • 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Working knowledge of computerized inventory management systems and techniques. MRP etc
  • To have an in depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles relative to procurement
  • Basic SCM principles knowledge and application
  • Ability to read basic Bills of Materials, drawings and specifications to convey accordingly our requirements to suppliers

This is a full time temporary role with working hours of 37.5 per week Monday to Friday. Ongoing contract with no sepcidied end date
