Our client is a European distribution company, which is going through a period of growth, and they have an opportunity within their Supply Chain team.


Your new role
The primary responsibility of the Supply Chain Controller - Master Data Management is to manage supply chain data across all systems used for delivery of services, ensuring data integrity, quality and facilitating optimal inventory and order management. Manage product catalogues in all systems. Create product catalogue uploads, including source data reviews, data standardisation, system uploads and user acceptance testing. Manage product discontinuations/switches/changes across delivery systems. Configure BOMs, pricing and fee records. Ensure that product introductions/closures/changes are co-ordinated successfully with client/supplier/DC. Maintain catalogue data alignment between systems. Maintain MRP settings to ensure stock cover is sufficient for demand and meets contractual agreements with clients and suppliers. Monitor system purchasing programmes and procedures to ensure orders are correct and sent to suppliers on time. Manage purchasing schedules to ensure compliance with operational planning.


What you'll need to succeed
Be able to identify improvement opportunities through proactively examining processes and practices within the Supply Chain team. You must have strong excel skills and be able to complete pivot tables, macros and V look-ups. We are looking for someone who is proactive and wants to make an impact on a business. You will also have interaction with internal stakeholders, so strong communication skills are essential.

What you'll get in return
This position will initially offer a salary of £27,000 and after passing your probation this will increase to £28,350. 29 days annual leave and this will increase to 32 days with length of service. This is a Monday to Friday position, working 100% from home and the working hours are 0900-1700.
