Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a professional, expanding business which provides services to the education sector. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Supply Chain and Merchandising professional. The successful candidate will report directly to the Supply Team Leader and will be responsible for the control of an area of the inbound Supply Chain.
This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in a thriving, respectful and supportive workplace.

- Assisting with stock ordering and fulfilment to cover the varying demands of the business
- Managing the purchasing delivery schedule and order chasing to ensure prompt and timely delivery
- Identifying production and supply difficulties and dealing with any problems or delays as they arise
- Working with the quality team to clarify packaging, safety labels, quality control measures and best practice requirements
- Monitoring the status of sales orders, assisting with allocation issues, and liaising with relevant teams to ensure smooth and timely transition through to dispatch
- Assisting with the analysis of bestsellers, slow sellers, supplier, retail, and category performance
- Keeping supplier brochure information up to date and organised
Required Skills & Experience:
- Degree qualified
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Commercial awareness and excellent numerical skills.
- IT literate including MS Excel, with the ability to create, maintain and update spreadsheets
- Ability to work on own initiative, priorities workloads and meet stringent deadlines
- Team player with the ability to communicate effectively with others
- Excellent external and internal customer service skills, good written and verbal communication, with good negotiation skills
- Ability to build excellent working relationships with suppliers
