Substitute Teacher - Crewe

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Substitute Teacher to join our team in Crewe, Cheshire. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of education by covering for absent teachers across various subjects and grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons based on provided lesson plans and curriculum guidelines.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student success and well-being.
  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure adherence to school policies and procedures.
  • Support students with their learning and provide assistance as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a teacher or substitute teacher is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and teaching styles.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
