Position: Sub-Contracts Manager

Location: Hybrid (3/2)

Contract: 12 Months

Full-Time: 40 hours per week

As a Sub-Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of subcontracting activities within the Oil and Gas projects. You will be responsible for developing and implementing subcontracting strategies, negotiating subcontract terms and conditions, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and company policies. You will work closely with project teams, contractors, OIM’s, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and oversee a portfolio of Large EPCM Package Contracts and Site Services Agreements associated with the Project.
  2. Prepare and issue tender documentation as necessary.
  3. Compile comprehensive tender documentation to ensure completeness and viability of packages.
  4. Strategize and conduct tender clarification meetings when required.
  5. Facilitate communication to and from tenderers as needed.
  6. Issue tender bulletins and clarification documentation as necessary.
  7. Ensure timely execution of technical and commercial negotiation evaluations and strategies.
  8. Prepare and manage the issuance of contracts and associated documentation.
  9. Organize and conduct Kick Off Meetings as required.
  10. Plan, develop, and execute Post-award Contract management activities.
  11. Oversee Contract Closeout processes.
  12. Report on Contract progress from Pre to Post Award phases using Project Systems.

Education & Experience

  • Previous experience within Oil & Gas industry is essential
  • EMPC Experience is essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the main Legal, Business, or Engineering branches, such as Mechanical, Civil, electrical, chemical, or equivalent
  • LNG or heavy Industrial EPC Subcontracts
  • 3-10 years of experience in subcontracting and contract management within the Oil and Gas industry, with a focus on large-scale projects.
  • Solid knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
