Job Title: Sub Agent - Large Structures Project

Location: Banbury, United Kingdom

Company: Join an internationally recognised contractor at the forefront of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects. With a proven track record of success and innovation, they're seeking a talented Sub Agent to contribute to their latest venture in Banbury.

Role Overview: As a Sub Agent, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a large structures project near Banbury. Reporting directly to the Site Agent and Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing specific aspects of the project, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to specifications and regulations.
  • Manage resources effectively to optimise productivity and minimise costs.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during construction.
  • Uphold strict health and safety standards, promoting a culture of safety among all project stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to project activities and progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in the construction of large structures.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to liaise confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
