As a Sub Agent working on the HS2 project, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of one of the most significant infrastructure projects in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Oversee site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental procedures, promoting a culture of safety across the project site.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers, architects, clients, and regulatory authorities, to address project requirements and concerns.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and cost forecasts.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to site teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably within the transportation sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid) are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of HS2 project specifications and requirements is an advantage.
