Our client, a leading London University are currently looking to recruit a Student Conduct and Appeals Manager on a full-time basis. Starting as soon as possible and running for 4 months in the first instance, the post will be hybrid working of 1 day per week on site and the remainder remote.

Key responsibilities for this post will include:

  • Leading the management and investigation of the referrals to the Student Conduct and Appeals Office.
  • Proactively developing and delivering effective staff training.
  • Providing detailed and clear briefings on cases for various relevant senior staff members.
  • Appropriately managing case load, upholding the high standards and protocols of the institution.
  • Ensuring that students are provided with appropriate and accurate advice regarding student misconduct, complaints and appeals processes and related support services that are available.
  • Working with various academic and professional services staff throughout the institution.

To be considered for this post, you will have:

  • Previous experience of working in a similar role, ideally within a Higher Education setting.
  • Strong administration experience, including analysing complex information and a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and organisation skills, capable of managing and prioritising a varied workload, work well under pressure and demonstrate a flexible attitude to work.
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory issues, safeguarding, and duty of care in relation to student misconduct, appeals and complaints.
  • Strong IT literacy.

The post is looking to start as soon as possible, so you will need to be available immediately or at short notice to be considered.
