This is an Ofsted Good rated, 11-18 academy, with a thriving sixth form and a campus undergoing a transformation, based in the friendly, South Yorkshire town of Doncaster.

Your new role
Will consist of;

  • Contact parents in informing them of individual students' behaviour, consequences or exclusions as part of effective lines of communication between the academy and home.
  • Supporting parents and students in crisis, liaising with identified personnel.
  • Monitor the behaviour and progress of these students.
  • Organise and provide appropriate work and supervision for these students.
  • Liaise with parents, outside agencies, education welfare and the police with regard to confidential/sensitive information and complex issues.
  • Maintain the Consequences Room to ensure it provides an appropriate environment.
  • Recording C4's and C5's onto sims/oCloud.
  • Attend and participate in relevant meetings as required.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of working in a school environment.
  • Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain and/or enhance qualifications and training and development in the post.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of audiences.
  • Ability to use standard ICT packages including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills.



Working term time plus 1 week. The hours are 37hrs Monday-Friday. They are slightly flexible on start time, which cannot be earlier than 7:45am.
