Advanced Resource Managers is happy to introduce a new role within a major UK company, specialising in designing, and constructing structures utilising diverse materials to create unique buildings and spaces. This is a brilliant opportunity to become part of a collective team at the forefront of the construction industry, with leading expertise and design solutions.

This role will require you to undertake the structural design works for both steel and timber associated with, main member, connection and temporary works design. You will lead on technical aspects of the design and understand and communicate changes to the regulations to allow other in the business to understand. You will attend post-tender meetings with clients to discuss submitted tenders, keeping detailed records of discussions and responding as required. You will ideally hold an MIStructE or MICE chartership.

Essential skills:

* MEng or MSc in Structural Engineering preferred.
* Experience of structural frame and connection design within the subcontract environment.
* Experience in a senior level in a subcontractor construction environment.
* Strong computer skills in the design, drawing and Microsoft programmes, and software packages such as Tekla Structures, Asta Powerproject etc.
* Ability to understand and interpret 3D models for the purpose of getting design information.

Desirable skills:

* MICE or IStructE membership preferred.
* Willingness to look at new method systems of work.
* Experience of working with various contract forms.
