Streetworks Inspector

Salary to £45k | Company Vehicle + Fuel Card | Pension | Annual Bonus | 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Key Essentials:

* You will be responsible for working on streetwork operations for a range of contracts

* Management and administration of the scheduling and permitting of works. This will involve monitoring and coordination of streetwork activities

* Working closely with senior management, the client and local authorities

* Responsible for opening, closing, extending and modifying permits using streetwork systems whilst ensuring that all conditions and aspects of the TMA (Traffic Management Act) are met

* Ensuring that all required TM plans are in place and submitted, where required

* Challenging, accepting and negotiating on FPN's and defects received

* Site inspection of any defects, when required

Requirements:

* Experienced in the use of Streetwork permitting systems and scheduling of work

* Excellent knowledge of the New Roads and Streetworks (NRSWA) and Traffic Management Act (TMA)

* Good communication and negotiating skills
