We are delighted to announce a collaboration with a global company based in Worksop, assisting them in the recruitment of a Strategic Credit Controller. This presents an exceptional opportunity for a skilled credit controller to be able to ensure that outstanding debt is minimised, and risks are identified. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large team with a clear progression opportunity.

You will become an integral part of the Credit Control team that can offer:

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Ensure timely customer payments to minimise bad debt.
  • Handle customer inquiries promptly and effectively.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Meet daily outbound communication targets.
  • Achieve targets for reducing overdue payments and improving cash flow.
  • Resolve customer disputes and escalate complex issues.
  • Categorise outbound service requests efficiently.
  • Support team training as needed.
  • Guide on non-standard issues.
  • Assist in monthly reporting on financial metrics

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

  • Strong understanding of accounting systems and Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Skilled in resolving debt management issues, including legal actions for unpaid invoices.
  • Preferably experienced in managing complex customer credit portfolios.
  • Prior experience in a busy Customer Service/Finance environment is beneficial.
