We are recruiting for a Storesperson with Reach and Counterbalance FLT licenses to join a timber manufacturer based in Stoke on Trent. This is a full time, permanent role working Monday to Friday 8am-4.45pm offering a salary of approx. £24k per annum (£11.50 per hour).

As Storesperson you will be working alone mainly in this hands on role in the finished goods warehouse with the following responsibilities:
  • Organise Picking Lists
  • Pick Orders from within the warehouse
  • Pack Orders to appropriate standards
  • Work safely within Health and Safety guidelines and training
  • Organize stores to a high standard to assist in the storage and location of products taking every step to preserve product quality and avoid damage/wastage
  • Set and implement exceptionally standards of tidiness and safety throughout
  • Daily stock counts and oversee periodic full stock takes
  • Communication with Production Planner/Manager and Sales Team

We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
  • Previous experience in a Warehouse Operative, Storesperson, Order Picker, Goods In role or similar
  • Reach and Counterbalance FLT License ideally
  • Good knowledge using Excel/ in-house systems for booking goods in, pulling off dispatch lists etc
  • Some heavy lifting will be required so you should be physically fit
  • As Storesperson you will have the ability to cope under pressure during busy periods within the warehouse
