Our leading engineering client in the Knowsley area are seeking a Storesperson to join the team due to company growth. The purpose of the role will be to handle all goods in and cross check items with delivery notes. You will also be responsible for the storage and distribution of internally manufactured parts. On offer is a basic starting salary of £23,900. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm and Friday 8:00am to 1:00pm.

Please note to apply for this role you must have an in-date FLT counterbalance licence.

The duties of a Storesperson are:
  • Handle goods into the business.
  • Cross check deliveries with delivery/order notes to ensure all products are there.
  • Stock all deliveries into storage if not being immediately used.
  • Store and distribute all internally manufactured parts to the relevant teams.
  • Maintain order kits for future sales orders.
  • Use the FLT to move bulk stock around the facility.
  • Despatch supplies to sub-contractors and organise transport. Arrange collection of completed parts.
  • Support in stock takes.
  • Support in keeping the master production schedule updated.
