We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Storesperson to join our team. The main purpose of this role is to oversee the efficient control of stock and equipment within the company.

What we need from you.

You will be highly organised and responsible for managing the receipt, storage, allocation, and distribution of goods. Additionally, you will conduct inspections of deliveries and equipment, and maintain records of all transactions.

  • Responsible for inbound and outbound goods handling.
  • Perform goods inwards checks and inspections to verify the quality and condition of received parts and materials.
  • Allocating space in stores for goods received and maintaining accurate records.
  • Responsible for ensuring the stores area is kept in a suitable manner for access, storing and security.
  • Pick items from stores and issue them to production team.
  • Prepare and pack items for shipments to customers.
  • Sign in and out tools and equipment, maintaining accurate records of their usage and whereabouts.
  • Carry out regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met.
  • Space management of Development Area.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Good housekeeping.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
  • Be physically able to move stock and operate equipment such as pallet trucks (training to be provided).
  • Full UK manual driving license.
