Job role: Stores Technician - Temp to Perm

Salary: £27,000 (rising to £29,000 after probationary period)

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Hours: 8.00-16.45 Monday to Thursday, 8.30-13.00 Fridays

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Benefits

· Salary of £27,000 rising to £29,000 upon completion of probationary period

· Overtime available @ 1.33x midweek, 1.5x Saturdays

The Role

· Receive all deliveries and check goods received to ensure they all correct and of a good quality.

· Maintain the equipment in the stores room, ensuring any rectification is carried out efficiently and effectively.

· Manage inventory, ensuring that the Sage 200 system is correct and up to date.

· Build up stock kits and assist with the packing of items and machinery.

· Regularly carry out stock take, highlighting any errors if required.

· Carry out all work according to company procedures and Health & Safety Policies.

The Requirements

· Previous experience working as a stores person (essential)

· Understanding of Sage 200 stock system (essential)

· Computer and IT literate (essential)

· Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work methodically and efficiently (essential)

· Forklift Truck Licence (advantageous)

· Must be physically fit as there may be some heavy lifting
