Location - Sittingbourne moving to Aylesham soon

Salary- £14 per hour, overtime paid at one and a third

Hours - Monday to Friday 08.00-16.30

Permanent Full Time Role

Do you have a Counterbalance license, inhouse or external (expired will be considered)?

Do you have experience of inhouse ERP systems relating to Stores?

Do you have previous experience as a Stores Person within a manufacturing or engineering environment?

Responsibilities

• Compiling weekly lists including components, welding gas, forklift gas, Trumpf etc
• Ordering supplies such as plastics, rivet, and label orders
• Setting up new suppliers, liaising with supplier over discrepancies and attending supplier meetings
• Daily running of the stores including unloading of goods, goods receiving, entering stock into system, and dealing with line shortages
• Working with R&D to set up new part numbers and procure samples
• Completing supplier evaluations
• Fulfilling internal orders
• Leading and completing stock takes

Skills and Experience

• Stores experience
• Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• ERP experience (preferred)
• Able to work flexible hours
• Team player but able to work on own initiative
• Calm in manner, ability to demonstrate good level of accuracy and attention to detail
