Location: On-site based

Hours: Day Shift

Pay Rate: £17 - £18 p/h

The Company
A manufacturing business based in Sutton-In-Ashfield are looking for an experienced Steel Erector to join their growing team. The company specialise in the water treatment industry.
The candidate will be working from site to site where installation is needed, Van provided from main depot in Sutton-In-Ashfield.

The Candidate

  • Must be experienced in Steel Erecting
  • Have a can do attitude
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working on site, at heights
  • Be able to assist in other areas when needed.
  • Happy to work away from home when needed.

Desirable

  • Have a CSCS Steel Erector Card
  • Slinger/signaller (training can be provided)
  • CPCS Plant Operator Card or IPAF for MEWPS Operator card

The role

  • Preassemble and erection of structural steelwork at low and high heights
  • Sling loads
  • Signal and work with cranes
  • Using high level equipment e.g. Mobile Operating Platforms
  • Review technical drawings
  • Planning Project assembly
  • Cutting and shaping Steel
  • Operating hand tools
  • Installing and fixing together steel girders, pipework and beam sections
