Team Leader / Supervisor Steel Erectors wanted!

Are you a Steel Erector with Team Leader / Supervisor experience? Acorn by Synergie is looking for skilled individuals for their progressive and well-established client who is based in Quedgeley, Gloucester.

Experts in this field who fabricate and erect steel structures to the highest standards, across the UK and beyond.

The successful candidate will be a hard-working, dedicated individual, with the skills, qualifications, Team leader / Supervisor skills and experience that make them an ideal resource for their operations.

You will have experience of erecting structural steel frames and building steelwork, plus experience of working at height.

You should also have a good knowledge of handling, fixing, and welding steelworks.

You will join an experienced team of professionals who amongst other things, collectively are responsible for manufacturing, designing, constructing, and erecting steel structures.

Working both outdoors and inside workshops, with a high attention to detail, you need to be comfortable taking orders from supervisors and have excellent communication skills.

Skills and experience required:

• Steel Erecting experience is essential
• Team Leader / Supervisor Experience
• Experienced and comfortable working at height
• Knowledge and experience of structural steel frames
• Good knowledge of welding and cutting techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Good organisational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Good problem solver / be able to think on your feet
