The Business

Westray Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced supervisor in a manufacturing/metal production environment to join our client based in South Tyneside.

The Role
  • Oversee designated area
  • Managing deadlines 

  • Overseeing quality 
  • Overseeing H&S measures and environmental practices

  • Contributing to innovative improvement ideas


The Person


  • Relevant qualifications - Desirable but industry experience considered
  • Similar experience in a supervisory or team leader role

  • Experience in manufacturing / steel or similar environment
  • Minimum 5 year's experience in welding environments

  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to encourage and drive team engagement
