Sports Coach

Sports Coach - Oldham

A dedicated and passionate Sports coach is required to work at a popular secondary school in Oldham, to join them on a full-time basis, to facilitate sports sessions from ASAP, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the full academic year on a full-time basis.

This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced Oldham teachers. The role is also open to people with coaching experience and possible badges.

You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required. The school have a key focus on an investigative approach that compliments their well-researched pedagogy. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way.

Minimum rate of pay - £90 per day

Hours - 8:30 am - 4:00pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, GTP, SCITT or equivalent

Previous experience teaching in a UK school

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide training)

Up to date prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, we can provide training)

Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, we can provide training)

Recent food technology teaching experience in the UK

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide a minimum of two professional child related references

Provide a full CV covering the last 10 years (including details regarding Secondary School education).
