Working on behalf of a secondary school in Crewe, Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit a Sports Coach to work as Teaching Assistant with a group of identified pupils. The position is to support a Group of children at a time who can also display challenging behaviours and has significant barriers to learning. The incoming Teaching assistant will initially start the position with a view to being extended throughout the academic year.

The secondary school is looking for a graduate of sport to add to its warm vibrant staff team. You will be working on a group basis but will be given the support of the senior leadership team to develop your knowledge of the national curriculum. The pupils come for a variety of backgrounds. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Contract type - Temporary
  • Full time/part time - Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £90 per day
  • Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
