Sports and Wellbeing Coach - London

Full-time; Permanent; 37.5 hours per week

£28k – 30k per annum

Hybrid working – home and community based

If you have youth work experience and aptitude as a sports coach, this is an excellent opportunity to take on a challenging, yet highly rewarding role in developing our programme of work in London.

Boxing Futures are a national charity that believes in the potential of every young person. We change lives through non-contact boxing training, coupled with social and emotional learning programmes, and outreach into our local communities to engage positively with young people with additional needs, with a focus on physical and mental well-being.

We are looking for a confident Coach to lead on our ‘Brothers Through Boxing Programme’ in London.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Growing a network of strong relationships with local stakeholders including schools and colleges.
  • Delivering non-contact boxing and social emotional learning programmes.
  • Supporting young people to develop new skills and positive physical and mental wellbeing.

You will be suited to this role if you have:

  • Youth work experience.
  • Excellent sport coaching credentials.
  • A successful background in delivering transformative programmes for people with additional needs.
  • Working knowledge of Safeguarding and Trauma Informed practices.
