If you’re a driven and ambitious Sports Sales Executive looking for a new challenge, this opportunity is not to be missed!

  • Working Hours: 35 hours per week, including evenings and weekends with time in lieu
  • Salary guide: £26,000 with a healthy commission structure

As they continue to move up the league table, they are growing and are looking to hire a dynamic and target-driven Sales Executive who has a passion for sport and experience gained in either the sport, leisure, hospitality or entertainment industry.

Your day-to-day:

  • Manage several hospitality accounts, taking responsibility for selling a host of hospitality packages to new and existing clients
  • Handle the entire sales process, converting initial conversations to sales and leading matchday meetings
  • Meet and exceed agreed targets which include revenue targets, sales targets, call targets, and appointment targets
  • Ensure best-in-class customer service is delivered by building close connections and maintaining regular contact with clients and guests
  • Identify opportunities to maximise profitability within existing accounts and actively seek out new business opportunities through effective networking and reaching out to lapsed clients
  • Support with sales-related administration which includes arranging bookings, taking payments, posting tickets, and undertaking matchday preparation

Your skills and experience

  • Demonstrate a steady career within sales and account management which has ideally been gained in the sport, leisure, entertainment, hospitality, or events sector
  • Possesses a proven track record of achieving and exceeding numerous targets and has experience in a target-driven environment
  • Experienced in a customer-facing role with a customer-first approach, able to deliver an outstanding service across all touchpoints
  • Exceptional communicator, confident in building close working relationships and negotiating, and can deliver clear and concise information at all levels
  • Strong IT skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM systems
