Speech Language Therapist Paediatrics - Hybrid

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join the Integrated Community Children's Therapy team within Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.

This post offers a unique opportunity to continue to develop and maintain expert clinical skills whilst providing clinical and with a time-split of approximately 50-60% time allocated to clinical case management.

The successful applicant will have advanced skills and experience in supporting infants, children and young people aged 0 - 19 years with eating, drinking, and swallowing and/or complex communication difficulties. He/she will also have skills and experience in providing line-management, clinical supervision, team leadership and quality improvement.

Salary: £30/h (Day shifts)

Hybrid work possible, however, candidate needs to be able to provide face-to-face clinical work.

This role provides a unique opportunity for flexible shift patterns, great pay rates, access to weekly pay and the ability to work in various clinical settings and departments. You will be able to build or develop on your existent skills and be able to try work at several different departments!

What you'll need as a Speech Language Therapist Paediatrics:

  • Highly specialist knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent qualifications, including further theoretical training and experience to Master's level equivalent in required speciality
  • Continued Professional Development evidenced by attendance at short specialist postgraduate courses to maintain and develop own specialist knowledge and expertise.
  • Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent (Post Graduate Diploma or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy leading to registration with HCPC)
  • HCPC Licence to Practice, Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Membership of relevant CEN
  • 6 months of paid patient facing UK nursing experience from within the past 3 years
  • Up-to-date clinical best practice knowledge
  • The right to work in the UK
