We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our Client’s multidisciplinary team.

Job Purpose:

Our Client is a 18-bed specialist neuro-rehabilitation service in Liverpool. Our Client provides exceptional level 3 inpatient rehabilitation support to adults with acquired brain injuries and complex neurological conditions, including PDOC cases. As a vital member the team, you will play a key role in assessing, intervening, and providing consultation on cases involving complex communication, swallowing difficulties, and tracheostomy care.

The Speech and Language Therapist responsibilities will be:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of communication and swallowing disorders in individuals with acquired brain injuries and complex neurological conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing difficulties.
• Provide consultation to the interdisciplinary team, contributing your expertise to enhance overall patient care.
• Collaborate closely with specialist Nurses, Rehabilitation staff, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Rehabilitation Consultants, Activities Coordinator, and Neuropsychology professionals.

 To work as a Speech and Language Therapist you will need the following:

• Must have the Eligibility to Work in the UK
• Qualified SLT status
• HCPC Registered
• Specialized training and experience in assessing and intervening in cases of complex communication, swallowing difficulties, and tracheostomy care.
