Specialist Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist - Part-Time
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated and supportive inter-disciplinary team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for promoting the best outcomes for students through holistic and integrated programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with another Speech and Language Therapist, a Speech and Language Therapy assistant, and school staff to implement 1:1 and group therapy sessions.
- Provide a range of interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions, to support students' communication needs.
- Support and train parents and staff on speech and language development and strategies.
- Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify students' holistic communication needs.
- Independently provide therapeutic interventions for various speech and language difficulties, such as Developmental Language Disorder, Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Phonological disorders, Dyspraxia, and Stammering.
- Manage a caseload with autonomy and independence.
- Collaborate as an active member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team.

Requirements:
- Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
- HCPC
- Demonstrated experience in working with paediatric populations.
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and relevant intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
