Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop comprehensive care plans, and implement tailored interventions for individuals and families in need.
  • Provide direct support and therapeutic interventions to vulnerable individuals, including children, adults, and families, addressing their social, emotional, and practical needs.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals, educators, and community organizations, to ensure coordinated and holistic service delivery.
  • Act as an advocate for clients, ensuring their rights are upheld and facilitating their access to appropriate services, resources, and support networks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Stay abreast of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work and integrate them into practice.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Current registration with the relevant regulatory body (e.g., Social Work England).
  • Demonstrated experience in social work practice, preferably within a community-based or statutory setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent assessment, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing complex issues.
  • Knowledge of local resources, services, and safeguarding procedures applicable to vulnerable populations.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards of practice.
