Position: Specialist Doctor - Emergency Medicine
Location: Antrim
Dates: 27/02/2024 08:00 - 20/06/2024 16:00

Antrim Hospital is currently seeking a dedicated Specialist Doctor in Emergency Medicine to join our team for the specified period, starting from 27th February 2024 at 08:00 and concluding on 20th May 2024 at 16:00.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert medical care to patients presenting to the emergency department.
  • Perform assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of acute medical conditions.
  • Participate in the management of medical emergencies and resuscitation efforts.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Experience working in Emergency Medicine at the Specialist Doctor level.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or equivalent.
  • Excellent clinical skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
