SEND Teaching Assistant- Primary School in South Leeds (LS11)
Full-time / temporary to permanent contract
We're currently recruiting for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant for a Primary School located in South Leeds. The school are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who can support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage. This role will be full-time working from 8:30am - 3:30pm and is to start as soon as possible. If you have a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years then this could be the role for you!
The school is looking for passionate and enthusiastic candidate who has a background in working with children or adults with Special Educational Needs. This is an average sized Primary School located in South Leeds and would be supporting SEN pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception).
The school are looking for an experienced candidate who has availability to start in the next 2-4 weeks and who has a Level 3 Childcare qualification. Applicants who apply without this qualification visible on the CV will not be shortlisted for this position.
Successful applications will have:
- Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years
- Previous professional or personal experience with Special Educational Needs
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
- Full-time availability
- 2x professional references
- Right to work in the UK
