At Long Term Teachers we work closely with Primary Schools in the Coleford area who are always seeking Supply Teaching Assistants to support them on a day to day, short-term or long-term basis.

We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and positive classroom support who can support these schools with delivering exceptional lessons to encourage pupils to explore their own learning. This position is ideal for those looking to maintain a healthy work-life balance or those with other commitments outside of work.

The role will include:

  • Getting the classroom ready for lessons
  • Working 1-1 with pupils who require additional support
  • Listening to children read, reading to them or telling them stories
  • Helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records
  • Providing support to the lead teacher in classroom instruction and management
  • Assisting with classroom activities and lessons
