About the School:

Based in Trowbridge, this outstanding school caters to pupils aged 4-19 with a wide range of Special Educational Needs. The school focuses on small class sizes, as well as 1-1 learning activities with pupils that require additional support, with the curriculum focusing on providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment which allows the children to achieve their best, and make progress in areas that are required for them to reach their potential. Pupils will have a range of SEN needs that require a patient, caring and encouraging support from the Teaching Assistant.

About the role:

  • Working with SEN pupils, in both 1-1, and general classroom settings
  • Being a positive, compassionate and proactive addition to the school environment
  • Assisting the classroom Teacher in activities, and classroom management
  • Preparing the classroom for lessons/ activities
  • Working with pupils who require extra support
