Role Overview: ?? Join our dynamic team! We are actively seeking a dedicated SEN Lecturer with a passion for addressing challenging behavior and SEMH to join a reputable SEN school in Mitcham (CR4). Work closely with a group of six students, providing tailored support and enjoy the flexibility of working hours for a balanced and impactful role in the education sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- ?? Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet diverse student needs.
- ? Provide targeted support to students with severe challenging behavior, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- ?? Utilize your expertise in SEMH to create strategies for students' emotional and mental well-being.
- ?? Collaborate with the school's multidisciplinary team for a holistic approach to student development.
- ? Maintain a safe and secure learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
- ? Qualified teacher status.
- ??? Substantial experience addressing severe challenging behavior within an educational setting.
- ?? Enhanced DBS on the update service.
- ?? Flexibility to work from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
- ? Bonus: Experience as a youth worker, contributing to a holistic approach in student support.
