Spanish Teaching Assistant | Immediate start | Lambeth | South London

Fantastic opportunity for a Spanish speaking Teaching Assistant to join the EAL department within a secondary school in South London. This role is to start as soon as possible and will be long term for at least the rest of the academic year and ideally into next year.

This job would suit a Spanish national looking to gain experience in the British Education System and could also be an exciting role for a Languages Graduate now looking for a long term education opportunity with a view to advancing into a career in teaching.

As a Spanish Teaching Assistant you will be line managed by the Head of EAl. Your role will involve interventions and in class support with 11-16 year old Spanish students who have English as a second language (EAL). The school has a high proportion of Spanish students in all year groups.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Spanish speaker to join a thriving secondary school with a good track record of supporting teachers to develop.

Applicants should be confident in speaking and writing Spanish and will be required at times do some small group interventions as well as 1:1 support in and outside the classroom.
