Spanish Teacher

We are currently seeking a Spanish Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Slough. If you have a passion for the Spanish language and culture and are committed to providing high-quality teaching that fosters a love for learning, we would love to hear from you.

Day to day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Spanish lessons to students across various Key Stages.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and tailored support as needed.
  • Develop and implement interactive learning strategies to enhance students’ language skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular themes and promote language learning across the school.
  • Participate in and organise school events and cultural activities related to the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proficiency in Spanish with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience teaching Spanish at secondary school level is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning best practices in language education.
