Spanish Teacher required in Stockport (Maternity Post)

Position Type: Full-Time for a minimum of 9 months.

Salary: £140 - £180 per day (Experience dependent)

Start Date: May 2024

A popular secondary school in Stockport is seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to start in May 2024 for a Maternity post. The school values inclusivity, academic excellence, and fostering a supportive learning environment where both students and staff can thrive. You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Spanish lessons to inspire and challenge students.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that caters to diverse student needs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and school programs.
  • Effectively manage challenging behavior in the classroom and create a positive learning atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for MFL (Spanish) , with the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Experience working with challenging behavior within a secondary school setting is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, parents, and colleagues.
  • NQTs are encouraged to apply, and support will be provided for professional development.
