Our client, a Multi-Disciplinary, Construction Consultancy, based in Warrington, are seeking a talented Space Planner to join them, due to continued growth. The successful Space Planner will be operating among a small team focusing on some retail and leisure projects.

The successful individual will ideally have retail / leisure experience with an understanding of the space planning exercise for feasibility schemes and working with building regulations, database and the development of internal construction and joinery details. You will be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit as well as other visualisation software.

Our client provides architectural and design services ranging from feasibility and conception plans through to detail design and working drawings for retail, restaurant, office and industrial projects. Space Planner Position Overview

  • Compile and produce drawing packages and layouts using AutoCAD and REVIT and other visualisation software including detailed drawings for design and construction.
  • Manage and undertake measured surveys, formulate designs and specifications, administrate projects and programmes and various other bespoke services.
  • Prepare visuals and mood boards including product and material sampling for client presentations.
  • Develop design options for further discussion by the design team and other consultants.
  • Regularly report, to your project leader, on the status of your allocated workbook, including updates on risk management and deliverables.
  • Prepare, develop, and edit, under the guidance of the project leader, or nominated architect, drawings, models, images, and other documents relating to the detailed design, technical drawings, and specification packages.
  • Ensure design proposals conform to the latest planning policies, building regulations, technical standard, and client standard details.
  • Coordination with other members of the design team responsible for production of accurate and well-presented construction level information.
  • Liaise with external consultants and suppliers, review information provided / coordinate drawings and specification packages.
  • Work closely with clients to understand goals and to develop and sustain good client relationships.

Space Planner Position Requirements

  • Relevant Interior Design/ Architecture Degree
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and ideally Revit.
  • Should have and be aware of good time management, working under own initiative and within and to client deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent client facing skills.
  • Ideally experience working on Retail/Leisure projects.
  • Commutable distanced to Warrington.
  • Highly motivated & excellent work ethic.

Space Planner Position Remuneration

  • Competitive Salary (£30,000 - £40,000 DOE)
