Our client, a Modern British Gastro Pub on the outskirts of Colchester are currently looking for a talented Sous Chef who is capable of producing high quality meals using fresh ingredients. This restaurant prides itself on serving first class contemporary cuisine, regularly changing their menu to reflect seasonality and quality ingredients. The Gastro Pub offers an enchanting setting, elegant surroundings, with a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere, with effortless, yet impeccable, service. They are very well known for their standard of food and service.

Our client requires an enthusiastic Sous Chef with a passion for food, who is capable of cooking to a high standard and ready to join the talented and established kitchen brigade. The Sous Chef must be able to train & develop their teams while contributing to the overall success of the kitchen. It is essential that the successful candidate has experience of at least 3 years at this level and environment.

The successful Sous Chef will have the following qualities:

- Be confident in providing high quality food to large numbers
- A desire to improve and grow their cooking skills
- Well-presented appearance and excellent communication
- Able to develop and help other members of staff
- Be confident in preparing quality Rosette food
