Sous Chef required for this large 4-Star Luxury Hotel. The hotel holds a luxurious fine dining restaurant and also has conference and banqueting and wedding facilities. They are looking for a Sous Chef who can cook to a high standard and someone who is looking to join a brigade who are aiming for the best. You will be a passionate, talented and hardworking Sous Chef and have the drive and determination to help support this professional brigade.

The successful Sous Chef will be responsible for looking after the 1AA Rosette Restaurant that has 50 covers that is solely open in the evenings. You will be required to work 45 hours per week.

The ideal Sous Chef will have a real passion for high level cuisine and fantastic food presentation. Whilst being able to work in a team, they should take their own initiative. Be innovative with concepts and ideas, always looking to better the current standard whilst remembering their target audience. They should also be looking to grow and develop alongside this blossoming business.

The Role:

· The right sous Chef should be passionate and creative, have a passion for fresh food, be hardworking and a team player

· As Sous chef, you will be work alongside head chef creating fresh seasonal dishes for their a la carte restaurant

· You will also train and mentor junior members of the brigade

· Deal with Rotas and menu completion

· You must have proven previous sous chef experience within a fresh food establishment, be able to take control of the kitchen in the absence of the head chef

Skills Required:

· The ideal Sous Chef will have a real passion for high level cuisine and fantastic food presentation

· Be able to work in a team, use your own initiative. Be innovative with concepts and ideas

· Have knowledge of menu completion, Stock control and Rotas
