SOUS CHEF -BEAUTIFUL WEDDING VENUE IN RUGBY

Berry Recruitment are looking for a Sous Chef for a beautiful wedding venue based in Rugby.

We are looking for a skilled Sous Chef who has worked with weddings and events before for at least 3 years. You should be able to work closely with the head chef creating delicious freshly prepared meals with local fresh produce for up to 150 guests.

The venue is part of a group of wedding venues that strive to create unforgettable memories in beautiful settings for couple's wedding days. You will have the support from a close knit privately owned company that specialise in weddings

What does the ideal candidate look like?

• 3+ years experience in a Sous chef role in a high-volume environment.
• Experience working with fresh ingredients.
• Demonstrate clear leadership with the ability to manage the team and kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
• Comfortable ordering stock and managing food levels.
• Strong Understanding of HACCP & COSHH.
• Level 2/3 Food Hygiene Certificate and Ensuring that kitchen staff adhere to quality, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
• Have a reliable mode of transport or are looking to relocate to the area.
• Fine Dining experience preferred but not essential.
• Driving License a must have.

Salary in the region of £33-£38K
