SOURCING MANAGER | NORTH WEST | HIGH GROWTH E-COM | FASHION | £40,000 - £50,000

This Sourcing Manager vacancy is supporting a high growth, ambitious brand who are on their journey to becoming a global success.

As a Sourcing Manager it will be second nature to you to care about protecting your brand throughout the full end to end process & relationship management of the supply base.

Along with your wider Product teams, you'll help ensure that your brand is always curating high quality ranges so that the customer is satisfied with receiving consistent product. As the Sourcing Manager it will be your duty to drive and maintain this, through your management of the supply base.

CRITERIA FOR THE SOURCING MANAGER:

This is for someone who wants to come in, lead the way, gain direct exposure to senior management & directors.
As this is a high performance business, you'll need to be an ambitious and confident candidate with at least 4+ years of experience & come from a; sourcing, sustainable, CSR, ESG related background.

SOURCING MANAGER DUTIES:

  • You will want to get into the detail of the current supply base by deep diving into each of their capabilities around: quality, fits, lead times, capacity, ethical practice and sustainable capabilities.
  • Research and pro actively see the on boarding of new suppliers or territories with the supply base.
  • Pro-actively work with new & exciting suppliers on innovative materials to only enhance the brand
  • Implement on-boarding & exiting plans around the supply base
  • Review current Country Of Origin sourcing
  • Ensure with each supplier that they are meeting best practice benchmarking at the start and during each season
  • Collaborate closely to your Product Developers, Designers & Grament Technologists of their understanding of the supply base. Listening to any concerns or needs from them and implementing relevant changes
  • Communicate supplier announcements to internal stakeholders, as well as communicating the brands messages to the total supply base as and when required
  • Develop and monitor supplier performance plans regularly with the Head of Product, along with Directors.
  • Create & share best practice hand books along with supplier manuals
  • Away from the product teams, work with your marketing teams closely to ensure accurate product, supplier, and coo information is clearly stated at all times
