Probate Solicitor

Salary: £30k

Permanent position

Fully remote

My client, a successful estate planning team of Legal experts are looking for a Probate Solicitor to join an expanding team.

We are looking for someone with at least 4 years of probate casework experience but must also be a qualified solicitor.

Probate Solicitor Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Review and approve estate accounts.
  • Draft, collate and summarise any supporting legal and financial documentation.
  • Conduct research where necessary on relevant laws, regulations and legal articles to ensure the accuracy of advice and the procedure.
  • Manage an independent case load.
  • To work collaboratively as part of a team assisting and mentorship of paralegals.
  • Corresponding with solicitors, courts, LR, OPG and other 3rd party companies as appropriate to each case.
  • Deal with routine and difficult enquiries effectively and efficiently and ensure that any client complaints are dealt with both professionally and promptly.

Probate Solicitor Key Skills:

  • SRA qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate
  • Probate Fee Earner with at least 2 years PQE in probate and estate administration, should be confident in handling all aspects of associated transactions.
  • Minimum of 4 years of running a probate caseload.
