My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Family Law Solicitor / FCILEX level 2-5 years to join them join the Family Law team.

Based in Ashton-Under-Lyne, my client are committed to doing what is right and making a positive difference. A legal company that is very proud of their firm’s history, the roots of which can be traced back over 175 years in Ashton-under-Lyne.

Job Description:

  • The role will involve conducting your own caseload in the following types of cases: divorce, financial remedy disputes, civil partnership disputes, rights of unmarried and cohabitating couples. (No Child Law or Childcare work is involved, as that is undertaken by a different Team).
  • Prior experience in this area of 2 to 5 years is required, including running your own caseload.
  • Advocacy experience is also required.
  • The successful candidate will be willing to assist with the firm’s Legal Surgery session (free client drop-in sessions), new enquiries rota and the external advice sessions that the Team provides to local organisations.
  • There are good prospects of career progression for the right candidate.

  • Salary is market rate and dependent upon experience.
