Wild Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity as a Solderer for one of our clients based in Fareham

Our client is a leading company in the UK, manufacturing and supplying products of the highest performance and quality. They want to recruit for this full time contract role urgently.

You will possess a strong manufacturing background. The role is to ensure that the soldering of products are carried out to the required requirements.

About the role:

  • Perform soldering tasks to assemble electronic components and circuit boards
  • Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks
  • Follow detailed work instructions and diagrams to ensure accurate assembly
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
  • Troubleshoot and repair any defects or issues with the soldered components
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

About you

  • Previous experience in soldering or electronics assembly is preferred
  • Knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering techniques
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to understand assembly processes
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
