The basic job purpose is:

• To act as a member of a social work team providing social work services to children and their families, with the purpose of safeguarding and promoting their welfare.
• To discharge the Authorities responsibilities under the Children’s Act 1989 & 2004 and other relevant legislation in respect of; children in need of protection and those in the care of the Local Authority.
• All post holders are expected to maintain professional standards of practice and to work in accordance with Social Work England standards.
• Division’s values, strategic objectives, procedures and managerial guidance.

Requirements:

• Social Work Qualification
• SWE Registration
• ASYE Programme completed (if qualified within the UK)
• 2 years' experience working as a social worker
• Currently residing in the UK

Salary Ranges:

• Social Workers: £37 725 - £49 083
• Management: £52 116 - £61 617
