Social Worker - Fostering Recruitment & Assessment (Huntingdon)

Opus People solutions on behalf of Cambridge County Council have an exciting opportunity for a Fostering Recruitment & Assessment Social Worker to join their Team.

This Role will be a hybrid role being based at the office 2 days (Scott House, Huntingdon) and 3 days at home.

We are looking for social workers who are passionate about achieving positive for children and young people and ensure their voices are heard and they are supported to participate in a variety of ways and forums as is appropriate to their needs, age and development.

This job role you will be:

• Undertake kinship assessments including connected persons fostering assessments and SG assessments.

• Complete SG support plans.

• monitor and support good fostering practice in the placement.

• Undertake Private fostering assessments.
