Social Worker - Fostering assessments

We are looking for a social worker for the Fostering team at Stoke-on-Trent City Council.

The rate available is £33.30 per hour (umbrella).

• Assessing Social Worker in the fostering service
• Assessing general foster carers
• Making initial visits to potential foster carers
• Supporting recruitment events alongside the Recruitment Officer in the team
• You would be expected to build relationships with applicants and to support them through to being approved at fostering panel.

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
• Fully Social Work England registered
• Must have significant post-qualified experience in a fostering setting having completed Form F assessments in a previous role
